Government
Though there is a Congress and a Parliament, both have little to no say except in matters of ice cream flavors at the few government events are held, but even then, the Supreme Dictator-for-Life, already controller of 99.9993% of all government-related affairs, possesses full veto powers. Most Olivereans choose to ignore the existence of their weak government, and worship the Supreme Dictator-for-Life as a demigod instead.
Economy
By will of the Oliverean constitution, 98.7554204% of Oliverea's already meager economy enters the Supreme Dictator-for-Life's pockets by some means or another, and another 1% is gobbled up by his corrupt entourage of officials. The remaining fraction is currently being used by a swallow in its nest.

Oliverea has none of these things. If anything, Oliverea has negative amounts of these things, if that's at all possible. The government discourages knowledge so much that anyone who claims that they know anything is promptly found horribly mutilated, and quite dead, at the hands of government hitmen, but as this is a daily affair, Olivereans cope quite nicely, and intellectual growth has slowed to a complete halt and also declined by a few football fields.
