Organic

Any sentient species that is not mechanoid and lives via standard biological processes. The majority of sentient species are organic, such as baseline humans, posthumans, non-humans, Elves, Kzin, Sakkrans, and so forth.

Many organic cultures tend to distrust mechanoids because of popular science fiction where "artificial" life overthrows "natural" life; the resulting bias of these cultures against mechanoids results in a counter-distrust in mechanoids towards organics. This is not necessarily true, but it is more common than mutual trust and understanding.
