Organization of Maritime Powers
The Organization of Maritime Powers was founded as an alliance of like-minded nations in mutual defence. Its primary mission is the protection of and enforcement of the freedom of the seas. Its member nations are among the NS world's leaders in naval warship and maritime civilian innovation.
History
Originally founded by Doujin, the Organization of Maritime Powers quickly became a collection of some of the most prominent naval powers in all of NationStates, including The Freethinkers, Isselmere-Nieland, Granzi, and several other influential countries. The alliance was established with an eye toward the protection and enforcement of the freedom of the seas, although with the downfall of the Doujinishi government, much of the information including the alliance's charter was lost.
