Pascalini is a Nation based on the real life character Blaise Pascal, who proposed a logic problem regarding religion that kind of sums up what brought me back to faith after years of skepticism. It is called "Pascal's Wager". Basically it is a logical formulation that given the laws of probability and the fact that we can never truly know in life what is to come after, it is therefore a better gamble to believe than not:

Blaise Pascal died at the age of 40, but his scientific, mathematical and philosophical contributions live on to this day. His death at a young age is why the owner of the nation started researching him in his own hour of despair,as he is the victim of a rare and nearly always fatal cancer (Esophageal Adeno Carcinoma).
