Petróleos de Vassfforcia SA de CV (PetroVas) is a Vassfforcian oil company privately-owned which had extended itself to many other countries.

History

PetroVas was founded in 1892 by a group of Ibportians after the discovery of oil in northern Tirritidivá. They reapidly started producing oil and as time passed they invested in other places, mainly in Vassfforcian provinces.

During the 1950s it became clear that the Vassfforcian oil fields were getting dry; however, the company was already protected by having investements elsewhere. Today, the Vassfforcian fields produce only about 100 thousand barrels a day.

Other Investements

Since 1910 PetroVas has invested in many other places:

Fenixina Core

The first place outside Vassfforcia in which PetroVas invested was Fenixina Core, a former Vassfforcian colony. The investement began in 1910, and the Fenixinan oil fields proved to be rich. However, due to the conflicts which took place during and after the independence the company was forced to take their investement elsewhere in the 60s.

Güisteria Vassfforcia

PetroVas also invested in Wysteria, in the former colony of Güisteria Vassfforcia, in the today Province of Other Seas of Nordsachsen, in 1941. This oil fields are still among the most important reserves of the company and they owe and extract more than two a million barels a day, which is mor than half of the total oil Nordsaxen oil production.

Greater Masuria

Their last important investement was made in 2006 in Greater Masuria, one of the states which conform the Varangian Confederacy. In this venture, the subsidiary PetroVas de la Gran Masuria was formed with an inversion of 1 billion Arras as the reserves are quite promising. After further explorations have been made, the company may invest 1 billion more to build an oilduct from Sibir to the port of Malstadt and a refinery in the city.

The Future

In spite of all their investements around the world, the company is worried about their fate in the new millenium with the oil reserves finishing around the world. Therefore, since the 1990s they started a billionaire program of investigation for new technologies and alternate energies, putting especial enphasis on hydrogene in the replacement of oil. To further this goals, they have associated with Motores Buchani, a major Vassfforcian auto manufacturing company.
