Praetonia is a land of wealth and prosperity, but it has not always been so. Long ago, Praetonia was one of the biggest nations in existance, ruled by a fuedal 'government' with very little technology. That all changed in the civil war, when Praeton was burnt to the ground, the population decimated and a Democratic Government took control. Science and technology followed, as well as the opening of the sea borders for diplomatic relations.
