Early Life

Ranos tec'Narwah was born an only child in the Narweighan city of Neith, close to the Herspegovan boarder, in 1958. His parents, Rinas and Solan Oltare, were relatively wealthy working class citizens who both worked five day weeks. His father Rinas was a miner in the local uranium mines, while his mother was a seamstress. When Ranos was one and a half, his family moved to a small farm five minutes outside Neith. It was here that Ranos spent the next seventeen years of his life.

School Life

Pre-School (1960)

At the age of two, Ranos entered the local pre-school where he came in contact with life-long friend Dana Hasperg. However the friendship got off to a bumpy start as Ranos was thrown out of pre-school for repeatedly throwing toys at Dana.

Junior School (1961-1971)

The following year Ranos was enroled in Tec'Kal Junior School in Neith. Here he was reunited with Dana Hasperg and the two soon became close friends. By the age of six Ranos was showing a great love of history and religion, consistantly top of his class in those subjects. As always, his biggest rival was Dana who showed a great understanding of Math and Geography. At the age of eleven Ranos sat his first major national exams recieving top marks in History, Religion and English but having trouble with Geography, a subject that Dana was to help him with in Senior School. A year later Ranos' scholarly efforts paid off when he successfully gained enterence into Rom'Ech Senior School, one of Neith's finest.

Senior School (1971-1976)

At the age of thirteen Ranos began his time at Rom'Ech Senior School. It was to prove an important time in young Ranos' life. While he was studying for his third year exams, in 1973, word was released that his uncle - the Narwah - had fallen gravely ill. This was to have an immediate effect on Ronos' life as he was no longer just another student, he was the future Narwah. In order to prepare for this new future, Ranos had to improve his knowledge of Geography, English and Ancient Narweighan. To this end a study group was formed containing Ranos, the now ever present Dana and a smart young boy by the name of Tharam nal'Karas. Tharam was quickly accepted into the group and the three began a friendship that lasts to this day. In 1976, at the age of eighteen, Ranos sat his final exams recieving results worthy of the future Narwah.
