The Republic of Rauthah is a large, devout nation, renowned for its burgeoning crested fire lizard population. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 36 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.
The enormous, socially-minded government is mainly concerned with Education, although Law & Order and Religion & Spirituality are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 37%, but much higher for the wealthy. A very small private sector is dominated by the Furniture Restoration industry.
