UN Resolutions

Resolutions hold the force of law in all current United Nations members. National laws are automatically modified by the Compliance Ministry as each resolution is voted in. Only current members are affected by passage, and these effects do not go away if a nation leaves the UN. Joining the UN indicates that the joining nation has adopted ALL of the passed resolutions, even though there is no in-game effect to that nation.

Resolutions may now be repealed per this news item from the Administration. The repeal process is almost identical to the proposal process, in that a repeal takes six percent of Regional Delegates to be voted on by the General Assembly.

The United Nations maintains a list of passed resolutions, but doesn't track failures. We here at NSwiki have at least a partial list of Failed UN Resolutions incorporated into the UN Timeline.
