The Empire
The Rethast Government is led by a single Emperor, the current emperor who has reigned for 8 years is Vastari Lentar. He has beneath him numerous aides to help him run the country efficiently. there is an aide for each major department who is responsible for gisting information. That is, compiling it so it is easy for the Emperor to read and make decisions quickly.
Rethast Lands
The entire planet of Rethan is controlled by the Rethast Empire, along with its moons Titanus and Abaddon, which have been turned into Military Bases, with Titanus being primarily a raining ground and Abaddon a space port. The Rethast as of yet have no intention of expanding beyond their homeworld, as no other world has the high levels of sulphuric acid in the air, nor the radiation required to sustain Rethast life.
The Rethast People
The Culture
Rethast culture is highly militaristic, with the legal age for enlisting 14 and everyone must serve for at least three years when they turn 18. Beyond the military, the lifestyle is also very reminiscent of warfare. Everyone works for the benefit of the Empire, and obedience is highly praised. Civil Rights are few, but quite surprisingly considering how few rights there is, women are treated exactly the same way as men.
The Rethast dress sense is neither elaborate nor interesting. The cold weather which is always present on Rethan forces them to wear warm clothing all the time, often with greys and other dark colours featuring prominently, primarily
