Revendui

The rather formal language of Revendui is used within the borders of Wrestica. It is taught to all school children alongside Greek, Japanese, and German. The motto of Wrestica, "Yatinu rofu Haturet, Haturet rofu Satensatelarefu", means "Unity for Truth, Truth for Fearlessness". This is an example of archaic Revendui, and the modern version would be "Atin rov Ture, Ture rov Senselar".

Wrestica's language has undergone many transformations, from a code that used reversed words in regular English grammatical order, to vowels added between repeating consonents to improve the pronunciation of words. A famous 'Original Vowel Order' document still exists, with the vowels to be used in the case of double consonents beneath a list of all English consonents.

Today, it is still possible to convert a word to Revendui, but the complex formatting a new word undergoes makes converting it back intelligibly almost always impossible. A special division of the government handles new words, and approves formatting changes, with an eye towards increasing the character and usability of the language as a whole. Older words are rarely changed, except in the case of rarely used terms.
