Origins

The Royal Commonwealth Army was established in 1876 when the country was offically the Commonwealth. But the army for the kingdom was long before established, even before the country was born. King Charles started with a single castle and few soldiers, but soon be began to expand and gain control of more land with his small army. The Army was given the offical title of the Royal Kingdom Army in 1222.

Today

Today the Royal Commonwealth Army is a large powerful force, the largest branch in the Armed Forces of Delesa. The Army is divided into smaller branches for specialization.

  • Regulars - A main force, regular soldiers that are recruited every day and go through basic training, but none the less very qualified for any job.
  • Reserves - A force that is the weekend soldiers home. Rarely sees combat since the Commonwealth-Kreatvye War
  • Airborne - A large force that all men and women who enjoy jumping out of planes for a living. Additional training and a physical screening.
  • Rangers - The peacekeeping force of Delesa. After several missions of peacekeeping, Prime Minister Lester Geddie established this branch in 2003.
  • Army Aviation - Very small, handles the transportation of heavy equipment like artillery, which allows the airforce to handle troop movement.
