The nature of the shadowy Rumbiak Brigade is hotly-disputed among different countries. Formed to fight colonialism around the world, it is know to operate in colonial areas such as Knootian Colombia (where some of its members have been arrested while smuggling arms) and in the part of Gallaga ruled by Iansisle.
The Brigade is named after Markus Rumbiak, a deceased political leader of Tanah Burung. Rumbiak helped to lead the struggle for Tanah Burung Independence from Knootoss and later served as part of his country's collective presidency. He was killed in a duel by an officer of the East Gallaga Company. The Rumbiak Brigade is dedicated to carrying on his struggle against colonialism.
