Saar-Westcoast is a fair-sized Kiravian city on its West Coast.
History
Saar-Westcoast was built by Kiravian settlers to harvest Timber, Titanium, and Basalt, as well as to preform Shipping, Paper Manufacturing, Information Services and Industrial Agriculture. the original population was 2,000. During the Western Expansion, it swelled to 340,000 and now contains a sum of 450,000.
Urbanography
Saar-Westcoast is a planned city, like most in Kirav. Its center is made up of parks around a an artifiacial lake. It is divided into 5 sectors: The Old Residential Quarter, the New Residential Quarter, the Papery, the Brookside and the Jalornen Sector. There is also a Port, that imports small cargoes from the Western Ocean and ships out Kiravian products.
Demographics
The majority of Saar-Westcoast's citizens are middle-class Cosciv Kiravians. They run the city and its industries.There is a minority of Jalornen laborers that live in a small sector of the city.
Autumn Empire
In the central parks of Saar-Westcoast, every October, there is an outdoor electronica/rock/rap/dance concert called Autumn Empire. It is called such because since its second year, the concert has recieved visitors from every country in the Empire.
