Shawn Peruvo made an instant impression in the international football community in the Helmet Rahn Cup, held in Northwest Prussia in The Heartland region earlier this year. He helped lead his team over a well known Liverpool England squad 3-1. His leadership on the field in both scoring and playmaking held throughout the tournament as he scored 5 goals and helped to propel the North Beach Sharks to their first international title in May of 2005.

In July 2005 Peruvo again made headlines at the Trotsgrad Invitational Football Tournament scoring 6 of his teams 14 goals and helped to lead them both to and in the playoffs.
