Sherylannia's national football team is often touted in the media as "an underachieving giant". Sherylannia invests much in its sport, so it can be argued that it has a lot of sporting talent, but this has not been shown yet.

The national kit is orange shirt, white shorts, orange socks, and the team usually plays a 4-1-2-1-2 formation.

The team's national manager, Mike-Klaus Underhart was sacked on May 21st 2007, after another poor performance at the Spectrum Cup.
