Shock Commandos are 'super soldiers' that were created by Roudland Security 2 ('The Agency') from 1989 to 1995 to protect Roudland if an invasion were to take place. Their existance is known only by a few military and political figures, and so they are rarely used in frontline combat. Instead, they are usually kept in a secure military compaound in Roston, continually training in case of a severe emergency. Little is known about these troops; they were present at the Battle of Tikrit and the 3rd Moronyickan War, though troops they served alongside were told that the soldiers were members of the Special Reconnaissance Unit (SRU). Some other details about the project (codenamed 'Project Viper') can be found in the Roudland Military article.

As of March 2006, numbers of Commandos remain a mystery, although it is resonable to expect 5-700 in light of their intended purpose and limited usage. The Roudland government and military are not proud of Shock Commandos, and only The Agency maintain their useful applications outweigh their cost. It is expected that current PM David J Roud will transfer control of the Commandos from the Army to The Agency.
