The Sovereign (§) is the official currency of the First Sovereign Bank and its member nations. The Sovereign is also the official currency of the Globally Unified Statistics and Trade Organization, or GUSTO.

Nations using the Sovereign are those who have joined the First Sovereign Bank. They currently include:

Exchange Rate

The Sovereign operates under a floating exchange rate, as opposed to a fixed exchange rate. It fluctuates according to market demands. It currently exchanges at the given prices:

Political Status

Monetary Policy relating to the Sovereign is decided upon by the First Sovereign Bank. The First Sovereign Bank is a central bank under the Organization of Sovereign Nations and participating in the Globally Unified Statistics and Trade Organization. Those nations subscribing to the bank have a say in its policies through the rules decided upon by the Organization of Sovereign Nations.

The Sovereign is also the official currency of GUSTO, and all economic values in GUSTO are expressed in Sovereigns.

Minting and Printing

The Sovereign is printed at the Old Mint located in New Dorado in the following denominations:

1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 500 sovereign bills (counterfeit-proof paper) </br>.01, .05, .10, .25, .50 and 1 sovereign coins (stainless steel coins)
