The Spriritual Union Party is a major party of Baranxtu, and the only major party with a religious background. However, it is not based on one confession but rather promotes religious tolerance and an increased spirituality among the people.

Of all major Baranxtuan parties it is the only one that has never participated in a government of the republic, although it was at some times even the largest single party in the Baranxtuan Parliament.

Basis

Although the Spiritual Party has been present in all provincial parliaments for decades, it is particularily strong in Deioprañiva, Āŋ-Dorista, Halaora and Gileğa. It is still going quite strong in Siraŋe, its traditional stronghold; however, it has lost a lot of ground to Tradition and Economy.

The Spiritual Party currently is the sole party in the provincial government of Deioprañiva, the senior partner in the governing coalition of Āŋ-Dorista and Halaora and the junior partner in Gileğa.
