Stü Mason

Stü Mason, or, more formally, His Holy Majesty Stü Mason is the current Prime Minister of The Holy Republic of Drunce. He is the first prime minister the nation has had since its unification as a modernized nation.

Early Life

Birth and Childhood

Stü Mason was born in 22 BN, 12 years before the formal unification of Drunce by William Davies. He was born in the quickly growing town that would later become Mason City. As the city is clearly namd after him, it was obviously not Mason City at the time of his birth. The original name of the township was "Retexe. "He has been an official resident of Mason City for his entire life. He attended school at Retexe Academy, where he majored in Philosophy.

Family

Mason has no siblings. His father, Dunam Mason, was a book publisher in Mason City. Nothing is known about his mother.

Rise to Power

Working under Davies

When William Davies departed from Retexe in 4 BN, Mason was the youngest disciple with him. It was not long until Mason made a name for himself, and quickly became Davies' right-hand man on his journey of unification.

After The Death of Davies

When the then Holy Governor of Drunce for Life William Davies died in 32 XN, Mason was unanimously elected president of the Droonce Governing Convention, the goal of which was to establish a working government in the absence of Davies.

Mason presided over the committee, which virtually created the multi-branch government of Drunce as it exists today. Mason ran unopposed for the position of Prime Minister in Drunce's first ever free election.

Foreign Policy

Despite numerous attempts at peace-making, and pacifism, Mason has been dragged into two wars so far. (The Lach-Land War, and Operation: Absolution) Mason's decisions were key in the foundation of the Absolution Triple Alliance, and Mason is also spearheading the Absolution Union project, which he would like to see launched before his death.
