The Stanislav Bears are apart of the Extreme Soccer League and play their games in the city of Stanislav, PopularFreedom at Bear Paw Stadium.

History

In 1994 the Stanislav Bears extreme soccer franchise was formed in conjunction with the other five teams of the Extreme Soccer League.

The team was relatively successful in the first few years of its existence, however in the early part of the new millenium they were not that successful, ending up in the basement of the league at the end of more than one season. Things changed however with the hiring of a new general manager and coaching staff entering the 2005 season. Since 2005 the Bears have been one of the more competitive teams in the league. The most noteable achievement of the Stanislav Bears include:

• In their only championship season to date, the Stanislav Bears were able to defeat the Camelot Scorpions 3-1 in Stanislav in a match that was not truly decided until the 29th minute of play. With less then one minute remaining in the match and Camelot swarming the Bears net down 2-1, the Bears were able to clear the ball and send forward Grant Segal on a breakaway which led to his 3rd goal of the night to give the Bears their first championship during the 2nd season of the existence of the Extreme Soccer League. The loss by Camelot was their 2nd defeat in a row in the Extreme Soccer League championship game.
