Super-Dreadnoughts

Super-Dreadnoughts are massive surface warships, usually serving as flagships for fleets. There is no RL parallel to these vessels, as they take massive amounts of manpower and monetary investment to build and operate, far beyond the capabilities of any RL Nation. Generally, these ships exist mainly for propoganda and reasons of international prestige, as they tend to suffer heavily from the Golden Fish syndrome. These ships are closely related to the Ridiculously Huge Superbattleships, although they do not quite have the same scope or wankiness.

Ridiculously Huge Battleships

Several times larger than aircraft carriers and mounting guns of up to 30" bore, ridiculously huge superbattleships, such as the Onos, Doujin, and countless knockoffs of the Doujin, have no counterpart in RL.

These enormous vessels indicate vast national pride and boundless budgets, and carry with them their own strategies of naval warfare. Many carry an aircraft complement equal or greater than many aircraft carriers, and almost all claim to be practically unsinkable. Many of such ships may suffer from Golden Fish syndrome.
