Massive surface warships, usually serving as Flag Ships for fleets. No RL parallel, as they take massive amounts of manpower and monetary investment. Mainly for propoganda, as they tend to suffer from Golden Fish syndrome. Closely related to the Ridiculously Huge Superbattleship, although not quite the same scope or wankiness.
