Svartel

Little is known about the man by the name of Svartel. He merely turned up in Assington one day, 2200 years ago and took up residence in the same village as Skadi. He embraced his vampirism and refered to is as the 'dark gift' whilst the others eventually learned to accept it.

He played lackey to Marduk, the father vampire for some time until Marduk was eventually banished by the mages of Assington. Since that time, Svartel fled Assington and was never heard of again for quite thousands of years. It is said that he may have gone into slumber to avoid the mages, yet nothing can be confirmed.

Svartel is a very shady character and not to be trusted. He has a manor about him that may appear sophisticated but is really quite sinister. He is intelligent, cold, calculating and enjoys causing the suffering and agony of others.

Svartel is what gives vampires a bad name.
