Sven Åsheim

- Sven Åsheim (born April 7, 1949) is a Nimzonian diplomat.
- Åsheim is notable for his bad toupé, tweed suits, and absentmindedness. He is also very shortsighted, and has trouble distinguishing between people and inanimate objects at ranges greater than four feet. Typically, Åsheim's presence as part of a negotiating or treaty signing team was a sign of the government's contempt for the other parties involved, or that they considered the negotiations trivial or unimportant. They rarely used him for any other function due to his incompetence. In 2004, he was sent to sign the Missing Zeroes Treaty with MadderMike for this reason.
- However, since the Civil War, Nimzonia has found itself with a shortage of government officials, so Åsheim has found himself elevated by default to a senior position in the diplomatic corps with responsibilities far exceeding his actual ability.
