*Sure, ok. I've got no work to do for tomorrow, so as we speak I am looking into ways to improve it. Rewriting that UN report is now top of my list, and I'll try and think of a way of turning the more useful portions of the info into prose. Check back, 'cos I'll probably update it regularly as I think of something better to put. -- [[User:Falastur|Falastur]] 17:14, 1 Nov 2004 (GMT)

Falastur FAC Vote (2/1/0)

Please remember to sign your votes with 4 tildes (~~~~) and update the vote tally when you vote.

Support

  1. It is succinct, well organised, and comprehensive. Rechze 06:29, 1 Nov 2004 (GMT)
  2. I would prefer to see his monarch page nominated (as well perhaps?) but this is a darn good page. The chart is well done, even though I don't generally like those sorts of things. -- Iansisle 07:30, 1 Nov 2004 (GMT)

Oppose

  1. I'm afraid I can't agree with the nominator. The Overview and Structure sections are quite good, and I also like the table, but the cut-n-paste UN section and NSEconomy statistics detract from the overall feel of the page. I'd happily support nomination of one of the monarch pages (not the list, mind you), and with the ongoing historical development I'd say the Falastur Factbook would be a worthy candidate soon. For now, it's just too choppy. → Fris Θtalk 14:44, 1 Nov 2004 (GMT)

Neutral

  1. Before I say anything, I'd like to add that this is not to win votes, it is merely to defend my styling of my article.
    • Firstly, I cut-and-pasted those sections because my page is primarily so those who know little of Falastur can learn about it. I will rewrite it if people ask me to, but I think that it was written well by [violet], and thus anything I rewrite would detract from the quality. I may later expand on it to give it more of a personal feel.
    • Secondly, my Falastur page is not completely finished, although I aim to make it look like it is finished so it doesn't make potential readers choose to skip it. I'm hoping that when it is finished, the copy-and-paste jobs will be much less noticable. When I have some free time (hopefully today) I will track down a code on wiki that boxes the charts down the bottom look better. That, or I might just delete them if I think about it and decide they aren't achieving anything.
    • Thirdly, if you have disagreements with the styling of any of my articles, please write it in my Talk page so I can act on it and make it better to read.
    Thanks.... -- Falastur 16:21, 1 Nov 2004 (GMT)
