#As far as I know, "Fod" is an abbreviation used by those who don't want to bother spelling (or saying) "Fodmodmadtol" every time they want to refer to the nation. It could be replaced with "Fodmodmadtol" but that would make the article more difficult to read - remember, kids, long words bad!
