How can you be co-founder of a region? → Fris Θtalk 01:53, 9 Dec 2004 (GMT)

I and a friend nation decided to found a region together. He founded the region, I made the region forum and oversaw the development of that.

I think what you wanted with putting a header to the introduction section was to drag it below the TOC. So I deleted the header (to me not aesthetically pleasing) and forced the TOC. — ℜechze|talk 03:03, 11 Dec 2004 (GMT)

Furthermore, I was not keen on you use of horizontal dividing lines not for division of a page. I suspect that it may have been only for appearance, and so I have replaced these, emulating the appearance with use of div. And seeing your table, I suspect that you understand this modification with ease, and therefore that it will pose no technical problems in its reproduction, or customisation. — ℜechze|talk 03:25, 11 Dec 2004 (GMT)
Thank you, and it was for appearance. Also thanks for cleaning up the code generally, its much cleaner (still feeling my way with code but I understand what you've done - learnt something too :) ). I wanted to get the overview section to go below the infobox as I dislike the way it wraps. I will push it down again without undoing your work, if that is not a problem. .--Nevareion 03:33, 11 Dec 2004 (GMT)

It is your article, my changes were placed largely as suggestions that could be kept or discarded. Of course it is not a problem, this is a wiki! Sincerely, — ℜechze|talk 03:37, 11 Dec 2004 (GMT)

They were good suggestions, besides I am enjoying writing for/learning about this wiki and I think once I know my way around better I'd like to contribute more generally so it is good to see how others can improve my pages. The wrapping thing is a personal preference, but then we all have those!

Based upon the advice of Frisbeeteria and the style guide, we should stick to simplicity, for mulitple reasons, and so I have (will) reverted the div use back to horizontal dividing lines. Although they may not be dividing anything, I do not think it really matters, or effects the functioning of the page.

Syle guide extract:

It's easier for you and whoever follows you if you don't try to get too fancy with your markup. Even with markup as suggested here, you shouldn't assume that any markup you put in is guaranteed to have a certain appearance when it is displayed.
It is easier to display the NSwiki, easier to edit or add to its articles, if we don't make the markup any more complex than is necessary to display the information in a useful and comprehensible way. A useful encyclopedia is the first goal, but ease of editing and maintaining that encyclopedia is right behind it.
Among other things, this means use HTML markup sparingly and only with good reason

Got it. I noticed in your edit you had suggested italics for the first paragraph but the breaks were interfering. On relection I like that para in italics and without the breaks more. I do prefer the horizontal dividing lines to be in as they help break up the text and make it easy for the eye to find the sections when scrolling through the page. I will try to use them as little as possible. I will take some time to go through the style guide as well. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain, thanks for your help. --Nevareion 04:11, 11 Dec 2004 (GMT)
