storefront links discussion

It would be really neat if we had a page where users could simply append their storefront to a gigantic, official NSwiki list of storefronts. Does away with the need for storefront threads on the NS forums and is more effective to boot. Zoogies| ζtalk 02:16, 19 Jan 2005 (GMT)

This has been discussed before, and I think it falls under items 3, 4, and 8 from NSwiki:What NSwiki is not. First, NSwiki has only a small percentage of II posters as active members. It would be nice if more would join, but it's not happened yet. Plus, any nation that wants to link to their storefront can do so from their nation page. Also, given the overhead of such a page (every edit creates a complete backup copy of the article, and there would be LOTS of edits), I don't see this as a replacement for the forum topic. Let's let Jolt foot the bandwidth and storage bill on this one. → Fris Θtalk 04:39, 19 Jan 2005 (GMT)
