# I'm fairly sure that I can't oppose the article on the grounds I intend to, but here goes nonetheless. The article is not badly written, but I can't help but think that it wouldn't get any recognition were it not for being Pacitalian (on a similar note, Pacitalia the country is already featured; undoubtedly someone will say that it's about article quality rather than author, hence why I'm fairly sure these aren't grounds for opposition). Further, it's fairly generic, for lack of a better word - genius jumps into politics, trounces opponent, rises to glory, retires with dignity - and there are no real flaws to be seen in the character. This is a bit long for a comment, but to finish it's a good article, but there are too many niggling problems for me to accept it as a featured article. Message me if you want to discuss this. Wow

This is posibbly the most interesting politcal genius of our time, we would do well to follow in his footsteps.

Support

  1. I support this. The article is very informative and readable. Well detailed, fast-paced, and well written.Zaire 03:40, 17 October 2006 (GMT)
  2. Tentative support of my own article - I feel I put quite a substantial amount of effort into this article but it obviously could be a tad more developed for being on someone considered one of NS' greatest-ever characters. (( Pacitalkia )) Time sent: 04:09, 17 October 2006 (GMT)
  3. I would agree that it is well written, and although it is not that long, it is a character article, and those do not tend to be long. --swilatia 11:40, 17 October 2006 (GMT)
  4. I would have to concur with Swilatia and Zaire. A simple but well detailed profile of what would be one of the most well known statespersons on the NationStates world and in NationStates international politics. Simply superb in work. Well done Pacitalia. Southeast Asia 12:11, 21 October 2006 (GMT)
  5. T'is indeed very good. A worthy example for any character page. Aridd 12:41, 21 October 2006 (GMT)
  6. Agree with Pacitalia, could maybe use more detail, but I feel this is already a very fine and indepth article as it is. Manhattan Prime 00:59, 7 January 2007 (GMT)
