Yet more army crap up for offer:

‘’Valitz’’ is one of the five constituent cantons of the ‘’’Confederated City States of Mikitivity’’’. Although it is very conservative it is also conservation minded. It honors old traditions even after their utility has passed, for the simple reason the old is known and the new is unknown.

Cantonal Forces

The Cavalry Corps = Kavalleriekorps used to coexist with the Infantry Corps = Infanteriekorps before they were both folded into the unified Army Corps. Valitz insisted retaining its Cavalry Regiments = Kavallerieregiments but equipping them with tanks rather than horses. The ossified ranks Master Equestrian = Rittermeister (captain) and Ritter = Trooper (private) have been retained.

The Panzergrenadierabteilung = Armoured Infantry Branch exists in Valitz, but instead of raising PzGrRegts, they are known as Karbinierregiments = Carbineer Regiments. Do not confuse Karbiniers = Carbineers with the light infantry of the Hawkins Cantonal Forces who are named after the Sharps Carbine.

Most infantry, however, raised in the canton come from the Gebirgstruppenabteilung = Mountaineering Branch. Like their counterparts in Aslan, private soldiers in this branch are known as Gebirgsjägers = Mountaineers.

Alone among the cantons, Valitz calls the troops known elsewhere as Technikers = Sappers by the name Pioneers (identical in both languages).
