Tapioca was founded recently, and is for the most part a representative democracy. Its environments vary, from the frozen wastelands of Franz Joseff Land to the marshes of Falkeria.

Regional History

Tapioca was intended as a new home for inhabitants of Gamma Squad, after political turmoil there caused life in that region to become undesirable. The region was created by The Founding Nation, serving as a proxy for the founding fathers: Joshopolis, Falkeria, Franz Joseff Land, General Stogner, and Vietnamesque. They hoped it would become a political utopia, and the name was suggessted by Franz Joseff Land to reflect this in an odd way.

The plan was to hand over the reins of its government to a neutral party. This is where things began to go downhill. Elections for a regional delegate ended in a tie, and soon after "The Founding Nation" ceased to exist due to inactivity. Franz Joseff Land was already appointed by popular vote, and inherited control of the region. In his acceptance speech, High Provost Francis Joseph Archibald proclaimed, "The people have spoken, and I have been chosen. My mandate from them and the Lord our God drives me to seek greater justice and equality for Tapioca's constituent nations. Those who do not align themselves with my goals will face immediate termination."

Current Events

  • An election was recently held to decide the position of delegate. The candidates were Franz Joseff Land and General Stogner. The votes were tied four to four, and no resolution has been reached on how to break the tie.
  • The Founding Nation ceased to exist, and regional control passed to the interim delegate, Franz Joseff Land.
