Engineered specifically for the elite PRA Red Samurai, the Tetsu no Kami (lit. God of Iron) serves to enhance the Samurai beyond their already impressive physiques to truly godlike levels. While not itself armed, its EAP musculature enables the wearer to weild weapons far beyond the capabilities of mere mortals. Tests have shown wearers of the Kami firing weapons such as the Iron Rain Gatling Shotgun or GPHMG accurately and unsupported.

EAM Musculature

The most important part of the Tetsu no Kami, the Electroactive Polymer (EAP) musculature serves to enhance the wearer's strength ten fold. EAMs are plastics that, when a current is run through them, the EAM will either expand or contract, pulling the suit with it. These polymers are interwoven and attached to the undersuit and out armor plates, duplicating the movements of the human body, increasing the strength of the wearer by effectively adding more muscle mass. In addition to acting in this role, the Tetsu no Kami's EAP acts as an additional layer of armor. Not only are the polymers themselves very resistant to ballistic penetration, they are interwoven with spidersilk threads for additional protection. Finally, the EAPs are perfectly capable of operating even when riddled with dozens of bullets. In fact, the undulating motion of the polymers tends to act in a reverse peristaltic motion, driving the bullets from the suit.

The Oversuit

The first layer of protection on the God of Iron, the Oversuit is intended to stop any incoming rounds far short of its inhabitant. The Oversuit is composed of overlapping plates of titanium-reinforced ballistic ceramics, protecting against rifle rounds up to 9mm. The plates slide over one another with ease, allowing a full range of mobility to the wearer, as well as allowing the armor to breath, allowing the undersuit to cool more easily.

The Undersuit

The Undersuit is an airtight layer of polymers over a comfortable, downy layer of the finest chinchilla fur, keeping the wearer comfortable and cool in any situation. The Undersuit reaches from the wearer's toes to the top of his head, covering everything but his face.

The Helmet

The helmet is an integral part of the suit. Containing complicated optics, including IR, ultrasound and night vision, the helmet is also attached to a computer core located in the back of the suit, which runs the suit's integrated Smartgun system. In addition, the helmet is the final stage in the suit's NBC warfare protection system, containing a rebreather and full air filtration system, allowing the wearer to survive for up to three hours in a complete vaccuum.

The Power Supply

The Tetsu no Kami utilizes a Polonium Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator to provide the suit with power. The generator houses half a kilogram of Polonium, enough to provide 60 kilowatts of power, more than enough for the suit's needs. With a half-life of 138 days, the suit can operate at full power for approxmiately six months before the Polonium must be replaced. This allows the battle armor to remain in combat for long periods of time without missing a beat due to power constraints. The fuel cell is shielded against radiation, and is removable, allowing it to be replaced with incredible ease. If returned to the proper Pale Rider Arms facility, spent fuel cells will be refilled for a nominal fee.

The Cost

Pale Rider Arms offers this suit to the general public at the low cost of only 400,000 USD.
