The Amazing Race is a critically acclaimed Pacitalian reality game show normally broadcast in 60 minute episodes, in which teams of two, holding a preexisting relationship, race around Atlantian Oceania in competition with other teams. The program will start its first season with a regional premiere on 7th December, 2006 at 21:00 AOTC+0300. It is produced by Checkpoint Productions, an independent company run by husband and wife team Fiorenza Spectorianse and Alberto de Jesús (who also created the race concept). The show is hosted by a Pacitalian, Cano Mora.
The race utilises progressive elimination; the last team to arrive at a designated checkpoint leaves the game unless the leg does not involve an elimination. The race starts in a Pacitalian city. Teams must then follow clues and instructions and make their way to checkpoints in places around the region, eventually racing back to the finish line in Pacitalia. The prize for winning the final leg of the race is Ð1,000,000.
