The Bisons has been a generally active nation in roleplaying; however, there came a point in time, namely after WWVI, at which point the majority of nations not allied to the Bisons collectively decided that the Bisons was a smoking crater in the ground as a result of all the nuclear devices used on the Bisons. After much OOC arguing, moderator TJHairball ruled that any nation considering the Bisons to be a crater had a reasonable IC justification to ignore the Bisons on these grounds, suggesting as a practical concern that the player controlling the Bisons role play a different nation if this was proving too difficult. As a result, the Bisons began to use the nation Dark Terror instead, although some players still chose to ignore Dark Terror after it was clear that there was little difference between Dark Terror and The Bisons.
