The Far Echo Islands is a safe nation. Noteable for its granting of dolphin rights, and strict enviromental laws. The nation is quite technologically advanced for its age.

History

The Islands have been long debated as independent, the first attempt at revolt was an unorganized attempt about 75 years ago by the many tribes to rebel against the emperor, an idea that was unheard of until then, resulted in the ‘Tribal Wars’ but the rag-tag band of tribes could not overtake the numerous, well organized imperial soldiers. After the nearly world encompassing Sound Empire split into the Holy Sound Empire and the Echo Empire 47 years ago, the Far Echo Islands made their first vie for independence, but the region only got war torn by the fighting of the two great Empires over them. 23 years later when political corruption broke out into assassinations that killed almost all the leaders of the Echo Empire, which had won rights to the islands, this temporary confusion of who was in charge caused the revolutions of 17 nations that the Echo Empire had ruled; the Far Echo Islands was one of them. But the Holy Sound Empire came out of nowhere and re-conquered the archipelago. Five years later the still debated responsibility of the detonation of a nuclear device in the capitol of the HSE killed the leadership, and 4.3 million other people, and both the massive empires finally dissolved.

Current issues in the last decade of the Confederacy has been the debate over communism vs. democracy vs. anarchy, weather or not to tighten the regulations of industry and the economy, and the most international, the debates over the rights of dolphins. The nation recently resolved crisis due to the public declaration of the human rights and citizenship of dolphins, and even got evolved in the ‘1 hour war’ with British Londinium, the misunderstanding turned conflict got very hot and some attention on the international stage. However, not wanting to be war torn just after making a full recover from the massive amounts of napalm used in the war 47 years ago the nation made a quick unconditional surrender to the People’s Sovereign Republic. After this the Grand Arbiter was brought to national court in PSRBL and found guilty of crimes against humanity as well as subversion of the Londii government, both punishable by death, but by luck, a decent defense, and some leeway granted by the quick surrender, the Grand Arbiter avoided death, and was sentenced to pay a large fine and work as a laborer on a state run farm in the PSRBL for one year. Even before the trial was completely over, the British Londinium occupation of the nation was over, and massive celebrations took place in the streets of the cities.

Now, the Nation is embattled heavily in the Utopian Crusades.
