The Ghetto Revival is an isolationist region, preferring to stay out of the affairs of the rest of the world, with the exceptions of the few nations that currently hold membership in the UN.

Contested Territories
The Eastern and North-Eastern territories of South America are currently under international dispute, with several nations staking claims in this area. Most notably Tlokatok, Rommel States and AchillesHeel are competing for influence and control of the area. It is also a hot spot for political and religious conflicts.
The international community has refused to get directly involved, realizing that it's a very sensitive issue, preferring to let the residents decide their own fate. The neutral nations in the Region have however refused to acknowledge any nation or organization as the proper rulers of the territory, and this is why it appears simply as "Contested Territories." In addition the international community has agreed that a direct act of military aggression in the area by any nation will be considered a collective declaration of war on all. For this reason the organizations hoping to gain control have had to settle for supporting their side with "international aide".
AchillesHeel has been accused of hiring mercenary forces to fight for control of the area for them, but have staunchly denied all accusations.
The Federated Rommel States have been conducting "Naval Excercises" off the eastern coast of the Contested Territories and have been accused of amassing a navy for an all out invasion of the Territorities. The FRS consistently denies all allegations of the sort.

During the Medieval Era of The Ghetto Revival four major powers emerged in Europe, each of which competing with one another and carving their empires into the Region by subjugating other cultures that they deemed inferior and exploiting them for their land and resources. Over the course of the 18 and 19th Centuries most of the colonies gained their independence through various means, ranging from violent revolution to peaceful appeals and granted independence. As the former colonies began to emerge as powers in their own right and presented global competition, the European nations began to wane in power. In 1933 a Fascist movement was successful in overthrowing the Anglo-German establishment, toppling the Royal Family and seizing control of the nation. By 1945 Anglo-Germany had industrialized and conquered all of the European mainland. It was renamed AchillesHeel in early 1946. In 1949 AchillesHeel occupied and annexed Greenland and Iceland; In 1953 the entire Middle East was also conquered and taken into the AchillesHeel Empire.
