The Moonstone Wars are the collective name for the two major conflicts between the Freethinker Commonwealth and Midlonia, which derive their name from the important underlying role the control of the production and supply of the gem Moonstone had in creating and perpetuating these conflicts between the two nations. These are considered defining points in the history of both countries.
