The SukiZuki War

The SukiZuki War is an ongoing war between the nations of Dhatsun and Sherylannia revolving the destroyed lands of SukiZuki. There have been few deaths, with both nations apparently becoming more apathetic as the conflict goes on.

The Omega Cannon

The war itself began with the 'accidental' firing of Dhatsun's controversial orbital weapon, the Omega Cannon, at the nation of SukiZuki, completely obliterating it. As Sherylannia has assumed control, citing the probable permission of the previous ruler, Viceroy Soponski, the act was seen as an act of terrorism and thus a war was declared. Dhatsun's defense was that the act itself was indeed an accident, and that, even if the firing was unintentional, they had been given fuill permission to destroy the lands by the Viceroy. This permission led many to question whether or not the firing was indeed an 'accident'.

The First Treaty

The declaration of war sprung several nations into action in an attempt to keep the war from escalating and involving other nations. This led to the first treaty, in which Sherylannia would end the war, if Dhatsun decommissioned the Omega Cannon and paid a substantial sum to Sherylannia's healthcare service. Dhatsun refused this offer, stating that the decommissioning of one of Dhatsun's most powerful weapons would leave a gap in their defense, something they were not prepared to do in times of war. The government alos stated that they had 'no reason to trust Sherylannia', therefore disarming could be foolish.

Current Situation

At present, Dhatsun has activated the SteelShield system around its capital, causing transport in and out of the city to become much more difficult, with huge delays due to seurity checks. Ships and planes are only able to enter through archways as a huge steel barrier has been erected around the city.
