The Theocracy of Sarrach is a small, devout nation, renowned for its strong anti-business politics. Its compassionate, cynical population of 18 million are ruled with an iron fist by the socialist government, which is led by the charismatic Radek The Magnificent. While the ruler see himself as appointed by god, not all in the nation feels that way, and there are a growing notion in the land that maybe a free election should be allowed. While the government are aware of this movement in the population, and even have been monitoring it, no action have been taken and the government seems to be content to watching the progress. Most of the population although sees their ruler as a compassionate leader that acts for the good of the entire nation. He seems to be listning when ever they address him, and he shares their strong religious beliefs.
The government grants its people the freedom to do whatever they like so long as it doesn't involve getting richer than anybody else or challenging the government. Since democracy isent a part of the political system, there are no parties in the country, and the population resort to holding grand demonstration to get attention to their greifs and troubles.
The average income tax rate is 61%, and even higher for the wealthy. This tax covers free health care, free schools and other civil services.
