The Zionic Wars

Background

Zion is an ancient region, that has repelled many invader attacks. But an unfortunate lapse in security lead to the successful invasion of this ancient region by The DEN. After much discussion, the Zionic Council led by the deposed delegate, Jocabia, chose unanimously to refound rather than continue aggression and led half of Zion natives to a new region Zion Resurrected, this included Questing Knights, another member of council.

The War Begins

After Jocabia founded Zion Resurrected, Questing Knights the newly elected delegate of Zion Resurrected, decided after being met by North Cadia to return to Zion and take it over using foreign powers after the exit of The DEN invaders. Unfortunately for the UNFR and Questing Knights the invaders had left, and so their decision to violate the democratic decisions of the Zionic council accomplished little other than splitting the region.

With Questing Knights installed as delegate by foreign powers and declaring Zion a Kingdom, eradicating democratic rule, a lengthy 'cold war' broke out between Questing Knights backed by some who chose not to move to Zion Resurrected, and Jocabia backed by many active nations in Zion and all of the remaining Zionic Council and all allies of Zion. There were few military battles, however the war of the words was on a grand scale, of arguement and counter-arguement. This achieved little on both sides as Questing Knights, and North Cadia refused to leave while Jocabia made his case of betrayal by Questing Knights.

War of the Words

The War of the Words achieved quite literally nothing, it was a futile battle on both sides, as the iron will of North Cadia pushed the imagined loyalty to Zion possessed by Questing Knights head first into the Zionic Councils's legitimate rule of the combined regions. This war ended within the deep holds of the ruined citadel at Zion, where putting their differences aside they agreed on a treaty, that ended the fighting.

This lasted until Questing Knights was ejected from the UN, and left Zion in shame, his loyalty only lasting as long as it garnered power. When the power was no longer available and Zion was again stable, Questing Knights chose to abandon Zion, despite the argument that his invasion was spurred on by loyalty, and formed another Kingdom that was supported by no one and where none of the nations that Questing Knights claimed were supporters followed.

Questing Knights has since repeatedly violated the treaty due to bitterness and anger relating to no longer being the invading King of Zion.

The Treaty

These are the proposed terms:

1) QK will apologise for the unintended outcome of these events, and will post on the RMB of Zion the decision to refound broken by the ill thought out actions. This post will remain or will be reposted for a period of 7 days. After this period, it will be assumed that all nations remaining in Zion do so willfully and with knowledge of the initial agreement to refound Zion.

2) NC will apologise for the unintended outcome brought about by misplanning.

3) Jocabia will accept the current legitimacy of QK's delegacy and will look forward into the idea of a 'United States of Zion.'

4) All parties must accept each other's actions, put them behind them and apologise for the recent unpleasentness.

5) QK will help to build ZR, by directing Zion's best and brightest towards said region, furthermore will try to build up the relations between the two regions.

6) This document is binds the three regions to an amicable relationship. It is expected that future relations will be handled with diplomacy.

7) Any current or future complaints on this situation are hereby withdrawn.

8) ZR and the UNFR will treat this event as a relationship-building event, rather than the negative event it appeared to be. While future relations depend on future acts neither region or group will treat this event as a negative unless future complaints require it as referenced in point 11.

9) If a member of any of the regions involved breaks any of these agreements it will be dealt with appropriately by the leader of their respective region.

10) Zion and ZR will work together for future mutual benefit. This provision may be periodically revisited by both regions in order to amend or abolish this point.

11) The arguments between all parties will be forgiven and put behind us. Unless a future complaint in some way relates to this event or is dramatically similar complaints about this event are to be left in the past. All involved parties are expected to use reasonable discretion on this point.

12) As of this agreement, Zion and Zion Resurrected will be permitted to handle and settle all internal disagreements internally. All outside interference in the Zion and Zion Resurrected regions by natives of other than those two regions will not be taken lightly. The leaders of both regions agree to allow the natives of the region to control their soveriegn destinies.

13) Zion, Zion Resurrected and the UNFR denounce invasion and the activities of invaders. We hold dear the right of the legitimate leaders of a nation or region to control their own destiny for good or for ill.

14) (not compulsory) Alliance between all regions is negotiated to ensure future co-operation, and to prevent any further transgressions.
