Thorlund is an Ambaran Danaan Principality. It is one of the seven principalities established in Ambara after the Second Ambaran War. It is bordered to the east by Zutern and to the north by Selinia. To the south lies the Amoric Bay and the the East the great unclaimed lands of Sahor. After English, the most common language is German, an official second language in the principality, and the majority of its population identifies culturally and racially with the Germans. The established church is the Lutheran Church. The HHMS Thorlund is named for this principality.
