The Tidani Navy is responsible for Tidan's sovereignty. This national force is under the authority of the Minister of Defense. Under its command are the Air Command, Marine Command, Maritime Command, and Fleet Command. The Navy is a priority for Tidan and receive the second most funding. They are kept equiped with state-of-the-art equipment and receive world class training. All citizens are required to serve in the Navy for at least two years, in the branch of their choosing. If demand is too uneven the recruits will be spread around. In the event that citizens are unable to serve, they are encouraged to serve in logistics. Manditory service bolsters the Navy, enstils pride and patriotism, and teaches descipline.

Weapon Systems
==Gravitic Neutron Cannon== This is the primary weapon of the Tidani Fleet. It is an extremely devastating weapon (rated at 350 Terrawatts) -- in addition to high power output, the Neutron Cannon has a highly accurate fire control system that allows it to target capital ships and fighter with equal accuracy.
Gravitic Fusion Beam Cannon
Considered a light capital ship armament by the Tidani, the Fusion Cannon is still more powerful and accurate than other races' light arms. Since their power requirements are quite low, Tidani ships are usually bristling with these cannons.
Missiles
The Tidani use a range of missiles from nuclear, hydrogen, and electromagnetic to chemical, biological, and conventional. Biological warheads, while they can carry diseases, this is considered dishonourable and not used under normal circumstances. Most biological payloads contain engineered bacteria designed for purposes like metal corrosion, electronic disruption, and paralysis.
Torpedoes
Torpedoes can carry as many payloads as their missiles. They use supercavitation to travel at speeds in excess of mach 8 under water.
Defense Systems
==Nanotube Reinforced Poly-Crystalline Armor== A form of crystalline armor plating grown around the ship, because of its natural properties it can regenerate damage by consuming energy. This property also helps reduce damage taken, as after the initial damage the residual energy left behind will be absorbed by the armor to regenerate the lost sections partially. The armor is reinforced with carbon nanotubes.
Point-Defense Plasma Turrets (PDPTs)
Capital ships use powerful, short-range plasma turrets mounted around the ship to defend against enemy strike craft, missiles, and torpedoes.
Gravitic Defensive Shield Grid
The Gravitic Defensive Shield Grid uses the gravity manipulation of the Gravimetric Drives to create a defensive shield around the ship. This shield is very effective against conventional weapons, and to lesser extent against energy weapons. By distorting gravity around the ship energy and matter weapons can be effectively refracted around the ship. Tidani shields are not considered the primary defense system, but simply one layer of defense and technically do not physically exist. The most important layer of defense is the armor, while shields simply prevent weapons from hitting the ship.

Hydrogen Fuel Rockets
Used for underwater travel, and smaller spacecraft.
Gravimetric Drives
Gravimetric Drives are Engines that manipulate zero point energy and superstrings to provide propulsion, produce gravity, and negate inertia.
Jump Drive
Jump Drive allows ships to move between realspace and hyperspace. The energy drain is immense causing many other systems to go offline during a jump to or from hyperspace.
Power Generators
Artificial Quantum Singularity Reactor
An artificially created quantum singularity used for a power source. The waste of the singularity, anti-mater, is used for additional power as well as fuel for weapons.
Fusion Nuclear Reactor
Uses controlled nuclear fusion to generate energy. Fueled by hydrogen stored in Fuel Cells.
Life Support
Atmosphere is produced aboard the ship by stimulating engineered bacteria into producing oxygen. All ships hulls include radiation shielding to protect the crew.
Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence is used aboard all ships to improve efficiency, reaction time, and reduce crew needed to run the ship. They are given significant control and given a vast capacity for creativity and command. Their personalities are restricted so as to make treason or dereliction of duty theoretically impossible.
