Timeline of Leninist Dynasty

The Timeline of Leninist Dynasty and its world setting can be seen as split into four main branches. Other alternate realities, such as Metropolis, do not contain the nation anymore, and even World IV is sometimes disputed to be part of the main timeline, since Leninist Dynasty isn't mentioned in this timeline, istead, it becomes the USSR.

World I

World II

World III

World IV

The timeline of the World IV setting starts under slightly different premises than the other settings, which connect it to a clearly definable point in RL history. The first historical account are massive social, demographic and economic problems at the beginning of the 21st century caused by overpopulation and environmental issues. After some years of general unrest, a World Government instates itself, apparently an European Union expanded onto global scale. It has two main ideologies: Human Supremacism and Enlighted Socialism. To solve the urgent need for resources, the world government initiates a space program to mine other planets. For this purpose, the WCG sends mining robots to Titan (thus, the World IV setting also delivers an explanation for the Machines which occur in other settings). The so-called Golden Age begins, an age of space exploration and great breakthroughs in science and technology. With the end of the individual nationstate, there are no more wars. However, there are dark sides to the World Governments's rule: Ecoterrorists, nationalists, anarchists, capitalists, the poor & unemployed and numerous other factions rebel against the organization, criminality reaches unseen heights in the uncontrolled, overcrowded urban sprawls (though this cannot be accredited to the WCG, but has been that way before) and crystallize in the Syndicate. The legitimacy and liberality of the WCG are doubted, and some revolutionary nations in South America refuse to join. Still, most of the problems are put down through a delicate balance of power (and even hinted alliance) between the WCG and the Syndicate. The Golden Age ends with a nuclear war in South America.

OOCly, this is a combination of StarCraft, Outlive, Oni and Rifts, salted with some of my own invention. Beware retconning!
