Triumvirate Protectorate Territories are areas that are under the direction control of the Triumvirate of Yut while either transitioning to the control of a Triumvirate nation or waiting for a nation to begin the process of taking control of these territories. TPT's generally result from the dissolution of a national government that is a Triumvirate member nation but this is not always the case. TPT's were created due to the protection clause of the Triumvirate charter, wheren all citizens of member nations are entitled to it's protection regardless of the status of that nation.

The Triumvirate Protectionate Territory of Ravenspire Mars

When the national government of Ravenspire dissolved it left both it's territory on Mars as well as the Martian moon Deimos without a central government. Under the 'Protection' clause of the Charter the Triumvirate of Yut organized a small central government under military control. Due to the libertarian nature of Ravenspire before their government dissolved the need for a central government was limited and mostly exists to coordinate external defense, monitor commerce, and similar external activities. This military government, however, was unable to keep unity on a large scale and so, over time, Ravenspire Mars fractured into various city-states and small polities that would actually threaten to go to war with each other, prevented only by Sky Marshal Tandra Fani-Kayode's "One Step Over That Line And I'll Glass You But Good" Ravenspire TPT General Order Seventeen. When the territory was sold to Cetaganda, these microstates took advantage of the handoff in power (and the fact the Sky Marshal no longer had authority there) to actually start several full (albeit small-scale) wars. Over the course of the next few months Cetaganda pacified the region through a combination of diplomacy, military interventionism in extremely rare cases, and (in the case of the microstate of The Darwinian Force of Yamada) sheer dumb luck.

The Triumvirate Protectorate Territory of Kuraboshi

The Ravenspire Star-Cities of Kuraboshi were the Deimos half of the nation's Martian holdings before their government dissolved. Initially secured and held by Sunset as part of the Triumvirate response to the trouble in the allied nation, it has since been transfered to full Triumvirate control. Like the Martian territories there is relatively little government control due to the libertarian nature of the citizenry. Because the moon is highly developed and independant as well as militarily sensitive extra-national corporations were not asked to provide the limited government services that would be needed. Rather these would be handled by restructed native companies.

Kuraboshi currently hosts Deimos Fleetbase, the headquarters of TYCS' Mars Theatre. Deimos Fleetbase is best described as "a giant jump-incapable WarShip that just happened to be built in the middle of a giant rock in space."

The Triumvirate Protectorate Territory of Delgados

The origins of this territory are uncertain. While the Triumvirate controls the area formerly ruled as Delgados the nature of it's transition to Triumvirate territory are unclear. The area still seems to have some kind of government in place and there is apparently a Sky Palace inhabited by a mad queen drifting over the landscape. Not having any idea where it came from and not really wanting the responsibility of running it, Sky Marshal Fani-Kayode sold Delgados to various nations in an open auction. The Caloris Basin, Komokom, Valinon, Cocentrica, Aelosia, and Tannelorn won this auction. When Tannelorn left Mars after the Quickbronze Impact, its territory was resold to Roania.
