History
Not much is known about the nation from before the Renaissance, where it emerged as one of the most tolerant nations in the world. Many great artists spent time in USSNA. Artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Dante, Michelangelo, and Rembrandt. This was one of USSNAs most internationally active times in history.
During the Industrial Revolution, USSNA was soon to catch on, but didn't mechanize to the extent as the other nations, prefering to prduce quality machines over quantity. This led to USSNA falling behind in the international community. They also didn't believe in Imperialism, so they did not have colonies. This resulted in USSNA also having substantially less power then the rest of Europe. Because of this, they went into a state of Isolationism.
In the early and middle parts of the 20th century, USSNA remained neutral during both World Wars and enjoyed rich economic success as it developed, made, and sold advanced weaponry to both sides. In fact, the only reason the Nazi's were so technologically advanced in WWII, was due to the fact that USSNA secretly sold them technology. To this day it is a regreted move, and a black mark on the history of USSNA.
During the Cold War, USSNA again stayed neutral, and enjoyed aid from both sides. While it never allowed any military forces on it's lands, it did accept any social and economic help. As such, it's legal, economic, and social systems turned into a mix of socialism, capitalism, and monarchy.
Towards the end of the 1990s, USSNA descided to finaly end it's period of isolationism. Suprisingly enough, it was better off than most countries at the times. With an economy as strong or stronger than that of the United States of America, and almost no dependence on oil, it emerged as one of the world's leading superpower, rivaling even the USA.
In the next Decade, Vincent Kain, the leading Monarch, wishes to totaly modernize all of USSNA, and make it even stronger.
