The World Soviet Party and the UCN

For the people of TWSP, the UCN was but a dream come true, finally, there was an organization capable of and designed to protect the interests and national security of left-wing nations around the world.

The original idea was drafted between the Tocrowkians, the Irish and the Soviet themselves, being Tocrowkia the head of the organization, as well as writer of the charter.

In the beggining, the alliance attracted many members under it's wing, being midly succesful, but also caught much flak, leading to the spawn of ACTO (Anti-Communist Treaty Organization) which was but a group of retrogrades, quoting moronic propaganda and waving the flag of ultra-capitalism.

Sadly enough, much of ACTO's roster was made of powerful and big nations, while in comparison, the UCN was composed of small, yet determined states which were ready to give it all for their ideals, or so thought most of them.

Although being a co-founder, The World Soviet Party never had a significant participation in the alliance, besides being there and standing by in case they were required. Today, it's widely recognized that the Soviets were, at most, apathetic and never really commited to the goals of the Union.

This can be contrasted to the militaristic and aggresive nature of the Tocrowkians, who though fairly inactive as well, appeared now and then to leave a few threats to the enemies of the revolution. By then, the marks of the coming isolationism Tocrowkia would be cast into were becoming to be seen by all.

Still, participation from other nations was scarce, to say the least, and each country preffered to secure their own interests instead of helping the others and acting as an united front, This would, of course, lead to the downfall of the UCN.

The activites of the Union slowly but steadily decreased until the Tocrowkians banished from the International stage, point in which the alliance was meaningless, and most of it's members were absent. This is when us, the Soviets, backed by a group of ex-UCN members, started drafting a new charter with the ultimate goal of creating a peace-oriented alliance, aimed at uniting socialists under one banner in hopes of standing together and being strong enough to discourage attacks, instead of carrying them out themselves. This new organization would be known as the Global Union of Socialist Nations (GUSN).
