Mik, you're edging in here real cautious-like, but that's not the wiki way.  From the New Users page: "Please note that your contribution is more important to us than the specific formatting you use -- so [[Wikipedia:Be_bold_in_updating_pages|be bold in updating pages]].  If you make a mistake, don't worry; someone will be along to fix it, and help you learn the ropes."  Anything you do can be viewed, and if necessary undone.  You do't need to message the author.  Just make the changes and roll with it.  If somebody edits you later, so be it.  That's the wiki way. Mik, there are over 1800 pages here, and maybe 5-10 of them have been contested.  There are a couple of cliques here, but they tend to bitch about the same small idiocies and leave the rest of the project alone.  I'd like some help with the UN, and you could do a lot.  Powerhungry Chipmunks is working on his pages, but apart from that it's mostly been me.  Step in, wouldja? Mik, every time you create a page, go visit a few other relevant pages and link back to it. Otherwise, you end up with either an orphan or dead end page. Check out Passed UN Resolutions, and have a look at what I did with Rights and Duties of UN States. Seems to me you've got a few that could be enhanced in similar ways. Mik, you're edging in here real cautious-like, but that's not the wiki way. From the New Users page: "Please note that your contribution is more important to us than the specific formatting you use -- so be bold in updating pages. If you make a mistake, don't worry; someone will be along to fix it, and help you learn the ropes." Anything you do can be viewed, and if necessary undone. You do't need to message the author.
