The Ventuusi Acquisitional Mining Corporation (VAMC)has for some time now dominated Ventuusi politics. This is largely helped by the fact that Tiryan Ven, descended from one of the First Ventuusi, is both current Chancellor of Ventuus and CEO of VAMC (forming the title Chairman-Cancellor of Ventuus). This position was easily achieved when, as head of VAMC, he brought the company to the level where it proved to be by far the greatest source of income for the nation, passing legislation that effectively fused the two - the Ventuusi Nation is no longer separate from the Corporation, and citizens are just likely to refer to themselves by company rank/Resource Number as by their own names.
