The Third editon of the Women's World Cup will be hosted by Liverpool England Qualifaction will be as follows, depending on the number signed up:
36 teams: 6 groups of 6. Top two from each group, plus best 4 third placed teams qualify. 38 teams: 5 groups of 6, 1 group of 8. Top two from each group qualify. All third placed teams, plus the 4th and 5th placed teams from the group of 8 (8 teams), playoff for the remaining 4 spots.
